Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my Dad's birthday! This photo was taken 32 years ago, when my dad was 25! Wasn't he handsome? He still is, although he's much grayer!

This photo was taken 2 months ago at my sister, Briana's wedding. I had a good time with my parents on that trip. We had many great conversations and some fun adventures. Thanks for all you've done for me Dad. You are a wonderful example, in many ways, for me. I love you very much. The kids wanted to write to you, on my blog, (since I'm too forgetful to send a card EARLY!)

Grandpa,

Emma here . . . you are getting older, so in case you forgot, I'm your oldest and coolest Granddaughter. I just wanna say, "Happy Born Day." I hope to see you soon! I wish I could eat your french toast for Christmas morning, like we did last year!!

Love you lots, Emma

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Remember when we were at the Grand Canyon?

I like going on trips with you.

It is fun paint-balling, zip-lining,

hiking and learning about geology with you.

Love, Joshie

Dear Grandpa,

It was fun going on a trip with you. I also liked it when you came to babysit us when my parents went to the Bahamas. You rented movies for us and gave us soda for Breakfast! I hope you babysit us again (don't forget the ice cream and licorice, either!!)

I love you, Rachel

Grandpa Goold, I hope you have a nice Birthday. It was fun to see you at Becca's Wedding. I miss you and I love you, Katrina (You always call me Teena, remember?!)

Hi Grandpa!
I like skating with you. You are a good teacher. Next time you come, can you teach me to ride a bike? I really want to ride like Josh does! I hope I get to see you soon. Maybe you can come to my house and teach me next week. Are you inviting me to your Birthday Party?
Love, Benny

Happy 60th, Pop!

This photo was taken 10 years ago, on my father-in-law, Al's, 50th Birthday!! Damian's sister and brother were kissing their Pop.

I love that guy. He is the kindest, most gentle man on the planet. I enjoy watching my sweet husband grow to be more and more like his dad each year! Thank you, Pop, for being a wonderful father to my husband, and to me. Thanks for loving my children as only a Grandpa can. You are admired and adored!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

My mom is the best mother anyone could have and I'm so thrilled Heavenly Father gave me to her! She is barely 20 in this photo and I'm 4 days old. Damian was born the day this photo was taken!

Mom was so busy growing me, delivering me, and loosing all that baby weight in 4 days, she didn't have time to cut my dad's hair for the photo. She's an incredible woman, but Dad, you've got to do some things for yourself, sometimes!!

OK, now I'm 6 months old and she still hasn't had time for Dad's hair/mustache. I sure kept her busy with my cuteness, didn't I? My mom is so adorable, I love this photo!

I posted this shot on Mother's Day, but it is my all-time favorite! Jonathan, Myself, Mom and Briana, picking wild poppies outside of Valdez, Alaska. My mom looks so peaceful. She's 10 years older in this photo and has 5 kids. She was such a sweet, nice, smart mom. She could run faster, color better and play piano/sing prettier than anyone else's mom, that I knew.

Happy Birthday Mom! This may be the 15th time you've turned 29, but people are still asking me if we're sisters, and WHICH ONE IS THE OLDEST, so I think you've aged well! xoxoxo
