Thirty years ago, my dad delivered his first baby at home . . . my darling sister, Briana Denali. I certainly was happy to have a sister . . . I was tired of playing dress up with my drag-queen brother, John, although he was pretty adorable!
Thank goodness we have each other, Briana . . . What would I have done without you and five brothers?
Briana, you have been a source of joy to me . . . I have loved you and looked to you for advice and friendship. You also have always had WAY better hair than me. I'll publish a post on my scary 80's hair-do's on the 14th . . . just in case you were missing my BIG HAIR. It's my present to you, you know, something to make you laugh.
So, my little Italian Bebe, Ti Amo e compleanno felice!
WOW!! You do NOT look 30!

Happy Birthday Briana! We love and miss you! Start a blog!
I don't think Briana checks her email or blogs very often. I talked to her Sunday and she had kind of a bummer birthday. Sem didn't buy her a present and they worked at booths at some political event. When she got bummed out and told him she was going home, he told her to go to the jewelry booth and pick out a present and then she kind of blew up and said, "Not only do you not buy me a present, you expect me to pick out my own present! Forget it! I'm going home!" She agreed with me that turning 30 is not that fun! I remember when I turned 30 we went camping and I wouldn't let any of you even mention that it was my birthday or celebrate it in any way, shape or form. I figured it we didn't celebrate it, I wouldn't really be 30!
