The Wednesday Letters

I loved this book by Jason F. Wright. It was an intriguing, quick read and very clean. I loved the message within the sweet love story. The plot wove a message about the power of love, devotion and forgiveness.

Now, I need to start compiling some paperbacks that I can take on my 2 week trip to Italy in October. I need books that I can leave behind for my sister to read, after I've finished them!

Any suggestions?

I don't know if you hace read the books by Mitch Albom. I don't think I spelled his name right. He wrote "For one more day" and "the five people you meet in heaven". Very quick reads, and I love the messages in them.

I just finished At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks....very good!! And it was a quick read. Also One True Thing by Anna Quindlen.

Hope that helps! I will have to get the Wednesday Letters. I've been wanting it for about a year. Thanks for reminding me.

Wow, "clean love story with a good message". I'm impressed - I didn't know people wrote books like that any more! Thanks for the tip.

My suggestion is Ender's Game.

I was trying to think of book suggestions all day yesterday. You could bring Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. You've probably read all these, but they are classics worth reading more than once. They can all be found in paperback, and they might take you a day or two to read them. I also like Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I'll have to add The Wednesday Letters to my list of books to read. It sounds great.
