Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my Dad's birthday! This photo was taken 32 years ago, when my dad was 25! Wasn't he handsome? He still is, although he's much grayer!

This photo was taken 2 months ago at my sister, Briana's wedding. I had a good time with my parents on that trip. We had many great conversations and some fun adventures. Thanks for all you've done for me Dad. You are a wonderful example, in many ways, for me. I love you very much. The kids wanted to write to you, on my blog, (since I'm too forgetful to send a card EARLY!)

Grandpa,

Emma here . . . you are getting older, so in case you forgot, I'm your oldest and coolest Granddaughter. I just wanna say, "Happy Born Day." I hope to see you soon! I wish I could eat your french toast for Christmas morning, like we did last year!!

Love you lots, Emma

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Remember when we were at the Grand Canyon?

I like going on trips with you.

It is fun paint-balling, zip-lining,

hiking and learning about geology with you.

Love, Joshie

Dear Grandpa,

It was fun going on a trip with you. I also liked it when you came to babysit us when my parents went to the Bahamas. You rented movies for us and gave us soda for Breakfast! I hope you babysit us again (don't forget the ice cream and licorice, either!!)

I love you, Rachel

Grandpa Goold, I hope you have a nice Birthday. It was fun to see you at Becca's Wedding. I miss you and I love you, Katrina (You always call me Teena, remember?!)

Hi Grandpa!
I like skating with you. You are a good teacher. Next time you come, can you teach me to ride a bike? I really want to ride like Josh does! I hope I get to see you soon. Maybe you can come to my house and teach me next week. Are you inviting me to your Birthday Party?
Love, Benny

You are so adorable! And so are your kids. And so are your parents!! I love that first picture. I can't believe he was only 25, how old were you in the picture? How old was your mom? People tell me all the time that I look like your mom. I must say she has way better hair though.

Happy Birthday Uncle Gary!! I liked the letters, especially the part about soda for breakfast! It sounds like those Grandkids are pretty spoiled by their Grandpa.

Happy Birthday Gary. I hope you had the best one ever. I know the only way to have a better one would be to have ALL the grand kids with you!

I LOVED the soda for breakfast comment! That is totally something I would do! Your Dad is pretty cute, and your sweet parents have not aged that much in 32 years, they look fabulous. Lucky for you, I bet you will look just as fabu as a grandma too!

Happy Birthday Uncle Gary! I love the picture of all the grandkids with your parents. French toast for breakfast sounds a little healthier than soda! :) So, did Benny get invited to his grandpa's birthday party? What cute kiddos that love and adore their grandpa!
