I read another book by Fannie Flagg, the perfect quick read for Christmas, and another new favorite!
People Magazine gave this sweet book a nice review and I couldn't sum it up any better. They said, "Satisfying . . . Flagg's faith in the healing power of small towns and family is refreshing."
Do yourself a favor and go check this one out at your library. Curl up in a comfy chair with a steaming hot chocolate and enjoy!
(And I pre-published this post when I read the book in the summer, just so you don't think I actually have time to read and sip chocolate right now, because I don't!)

I always need book suggestions! Thanks.
Why is our favorite time of year so stressful! We need to take the time to sit down with a book and hot chocolate and enjoy the season! (I know, after we get everything else done. And we know that is never.)
That book looks interesting. Let's have a book reading, hot chocolate drinking, slumber party with the girls!
blah blah blah blah...I'm sorry but I'll be honest...(since you did say you missed my comments) I never read your book posts! SOrry...I just am not interested in books for some reason. Besides twilight I haven't read a book in years! Sad I know but i jsut have too manyother things that I want to do besides reading, especiaally this time of year! BUt i am proud of you and glad you read but i did not read even one word of this post....just saw the picture and skipped...ok...maybe i shouldn't be so honest...but i love you nonetheless...now that friendly ghost post is the cutest thing ever! SO i forgive you if every few days you have a boring post! love ya!
I like cardinals. They are sentimental to Spencer's family. Maybe I will get around to reading your book after the holidays...oh, and after I finish reading all of the classics. That was my goal at one point, but I am lucky if I get to read the Book of Mormon each day.
well ok...so i had to come back to this post and read it so I didn't feel so bad after my last comment....and obviously if I had read your post I would have known that you don't have time to read right now either...I should have known it was a pre-post. Funny...well it was a great post and I will never complain about your book ones again.
I love book suggestions...my "To Read" list is so long that I can't even remember all the books on my list! I love sweet Christmas stories though, and I think I will check this one out at the library soon! :) Thanks!
