The Kids Will Play
(With the Camera!!)
I found these cute pictures on my memory card the other day. I've heard of kids doing this little number, but mine haven't tried it. Mostly because they've been threatened with a spank if they touch my camera. These were too cute though and I've waived the punishment. I'm sure they think I never found out what they'd been up to . . . (they don't think I'm very smart, let's face it!)
Apparently, posing with half an apple in your mouth is really hilarous and/or adorable?!
This shot would normally earn an extra spank, since the kids took my camera OUTSIDE!! Again, what I don't bring up, I'm sure they won't either!
Even more funny than the apples was this lovely shot of Benny's bum. This made me laugh. I could just hear Ben, "Take a picture of my Bum! Take a picture of my Bum!" It looks like he's even shaking it a little. Brother.

The picture of Ben's bum is hilarious! Every time I pull out my camera, the twins always want me to take a picture of their booty! It must be a boy thing!

Those are all so funny. How did Katrina fit that much of an apple in her mouth. Can you blame them? You would have to take a picture of that as proof that you have fit half of an apple in your mouth. Don't you remember trying to get away with things while your parents were gone? Those were fun and memorable for me as a kid.
I'm so glad that I read your blog. I thought it was just my kid that's obsessed with his bum. Yesterday it was, "My bum feels good!" By the way, I had a dream about you being called from the stands to be on the olympic mixed medley swim (during competition) with michael phelps. When they called you, you striped down to your swim suit (that apparently you always wear for such an occasion as this) and then started flexing like you did in your high school picture. Then I woke up. Sorry, I don't know if you broke any records or not.
Why do kids think their moms are so stupid? I always thought my dad was perfect and there was no way I was asking my mom for homework help. Sorry if you are reading this mom. Anyway, I am just realizing how not stupid my mom is. I guess we can just hope they will understand someday that we are the smartest. How silly! I wouldn't have been able to punish them either. Your kids must have inherited some photography skills.
I love digital cameras just so kids can take photos. You want to take 30 photos of your lego tower- sure, go right ahead. Then again, you probably have a nicer camera.

so i don't know what is funnier...benny's bum pic or your cute cousin jenny's comment! That dream of hers is hilarious and somehow TOTALLY believable! I can just see you stripping down to your little speedo swimsuit and flexing for all the crowd to see! You'd put Michael Phelps to shame with your bicepts! I love being the last to comment on all your posts so I can read everyone else's comments....its almost as fun as the original post. Benny is a "crack-up" though...really!
Sometimes Josh will take random pictures with my camera of weird things too...just so I look through them later and think, "Where did this come from?" I hope he doesn't read this post and get any silly ideas from Ben! :)
