Katrina and her best friend booked it to the Library, Ben and I could hardly keep up!
Once there, Ben found the ScoobyDoo Comics and "read" them.
The librarian introduced the Summer Reading Program (Bug Theme). Katrina wouldn't make eye contact, I think the giant bug freaked her out!
The girls talked about that "freaky big bug", while I dreamed about being the story time lady. I really love costumes!
Follow the leader, back to the school! Next week, we have a trip to the post office!

We actually have another week of school left...we just have end of school year stuff for the last two weeks, to kill time I guess :)
What fun! We have a bug theme this year, too. How do I get my hands on ladybug!
Ah, to be young and think bugs exciting not icky. This theme could backfire if they start bringing in examples. :D
This comment doesn't really have to do with this post- although it is very cute. I especially love your obsrevation of Katrina not making eye contact because of the bug lady! But I wanted to make a comment on a recent post so you would read it. Your trip looks so fun! It makes me wish I were an Idiart somehow! I remember one time you told me if we ever had to have sister wives- you would choose me. And if anything ever happens to eric, you may have a whole new family moving in! (Disclaimor- anyone reading this- know we are not polygamists- We are just teasing and being sarcastic. It is part of our charm!) Anyway- I agree that somehow we need to see each other- whether it be vacation together or coming up to see you. We still haven't planned our family summer vacation- maybe I can put a bug in Eric's ear about up by you. Also your bloging puts mine to shame. I spend to much time thinking about what to blog instead of just doing it. But my parents are going on a mission this fall so I;m sure I will blog more once they leave. Anyway now that I have left a novel... love you!
Your kids are getting so big. I can't wait to see them this summer! That bug lady must look ten feet tall to the kids. I am surprised no one ran out screaming. Olivia didn't even like Santa until last year.
Wow, that big ladybug costume is way better than my bumble bee costume! Dang! And Benny got an extreme haircut, huh? I'm SO glad your library is open again so you can feed your reading addiction. What books do you recommend I buy to send to Briana with Eric? I can never get you on the phone, so I'm resorting to talking to you through your blog! Pathetic!
